Youth Basketball - Boys - 321131

Gainesville Parks and Recreation basketball league is geared not only for the beginner, but for the experienced player as well. This youth basketball league will provide a structured and curriculum based approach to help kids develop age appropriate skills and strategies. Teams will participate in a 6-week season, featuring weekly games and a post-season tournament to conclude the season. Our basketball league will focus on the following values, skill development, offensive and defensive concepts, and a lifelong enjoyment of the game. Players will participate within the age control date of September 1, 2026. Whatever age a player is on that date will determine their age group.

All age groups are based on the following control dates:

1. 6U Boys = 9/2/2019 – 9/1/2021
2. 8U Boys = 9/2/2017 – 9/1/2019
3. 10U Boys = 9/2/2015 – 9/1/2017
4. Middle School Boys = 9/2/2012 – 9/1/2015

The child's birthdate will determine their age group. No players are permitted to play down an age group.

Registration Deadline is Thursday October 2, 2026 at 5:00pm
